It was designed for ease of use and to address unique complexities in Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 suite of solutions, but there are a few things you need to know before using the tool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note: The <\/span><\/i><b><i>3D<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXPERIENCE Transition Assistant is not an independently available role. It is part of the 3DXTA-OC data migration package, which includes all of the roles you need for a data migration project. The package also includes a sandbox tenant for trial migrations. XTA enables you to download the 3DEXPERIENCE Transition Assistant installer.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>The Success of Your Migration Depends on the Quality of Your Data<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is true for any data migration project, whether you\u2019re working with the <\/span><b>3D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXPERIENCE platform or any other type of software on the market, but it\u2019s especially critical if you plan to utilize the XTA-OC <\/span><b>3D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXPERIENCE Transition Assistant.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simply put, the <\/span><b>3D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXPERIENCE Transition Assistant may not work if you have missing or broken references or other issues with your data. We\u2019ve developed a new process and tool sets to prepare your SOLIDWORKS PDM data for loading into <\/span><b>3D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXPERIENCE on the Cloud using the <\/span><b>3D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXPERIENCE Transition Assistant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Introducing xLM\u2019s SOLIDWORKS PDM Reference Clean-Up Process<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/staging.xlmsolutions.com\/resources\/solidworks-pdm-reference-clean-up-process\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SOLIDWORKS PDM Reference Clean-Up Process<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from xLM is a must-have for anyone planning a data migration involving the solutions mentioned above. We use a two-part process to run and generate a report based on your SOLIDWORKS PDM data and then use that report to automatically make corrections.
