This solution is based on a real-world workflow built by xLM, demonstrated in a recent video. The process automates what would otherwise be manual, error-prone steps:
- Automatic triggering: The workflow begins when a document is promoted to Frozen
- Role-based tasks: Tasks route to individuals and groups (e.g. CCB) based on workflow logic
- Rejection and revision: Users can redline documents, reject changes, and return them to earlier steps
- Enforced state transitions: Documents cannot be promoted manually outside the workflow
- Audit tracking: The workflow logs each step and provides process history for traceability.
