How to Respond to the Log4j Exploit

ByMarc Young, Founder and Owner, xLM Solutions

For Dassault Systèmes users, Marc Young points to ways to respond to the very dangerous Log4j exploit.

As we are learning more about the Apache Log4j exploit announced last week, we want to share with our customers how to respond. As a Java-based software, the Apache Log4j technology is used in PLM tools to support logging in various applications. A popular logging library, it gives developers tools to build records of activity. It is an open-source and free library, and it is used widely. For our Dassault Systèmes customers, Dassault has published ways to fix the Apache Log4j vulnerability for your PLM solution. Please review the suggestions on the 3DS.com website. If you require assistance working with the fixes, please contact us. We’re happy to help.
